Lycos Europe hosts the MX for these domains only and does not own most of them. The owners will move them if the domains are still active by that time. Setting up special bounce handling such that they are removed when DNS resolution fails or connection fails should ensure that you continue to mail to domains that are moved, but quickly remove all domains that are dead.
